Also spelt “kadai”, “karahi” or “kadahi”, this cookware is similar to the wok and has been around since ages. Types of Kadhai

When designing our kadhais, we ensured that all your kadai requirements are fulfilled and that cooking in them is hassle free for you.

Here’s what our range of triply kadais consists of:

  • Stainless Steel Kadhais – This range consist of deep and round bottom kadhai, flat bottom kadhai, and a modified kadhai with a frypan handle. Since these are all triply kadhais, all of them use less oil (if you’re not deep frying) and cook food faster than usual.
  • NevrStick Kadhai – This is a non-stick kadhai with a high-quality, toxin-free, C3+ grade German coating which is chip-resistant and long lasting. This kadhai is apt for cooking foods without oil.
  • Hybrid Kadhai – We’ve used HexaRidge technology to create our Hybrid kadhais. The technology uses an innovative combination of stainless steel and Greblon coating, wherein the coating sits in the trenches created with stainless-steel HexaRidge pattern. This makes the kadhai stick-resistant, and so sturdy and durable that the kadhai can take the scr-r-ritch, scratch, scratch of your metal spoons, spatulas, and even knives.
  • Tasla Kadhais – These are available in the Artisan Stainless Steel and Hybrid series and are a great variant for the usual kadai. They are also easy to stack and store as they don’t have the handles that kadhais have.

  • Even Heat Distribution – The high quality triply material ensures heat is distributed uniformly through the cookware and there are no hotspots that lead to sticking and burning of food.
  • Safe – In the case of stainless steel kadais, the innermost stainless-steel layer that comes in contact with the food being cooked in the kadhais is completely non-reactive. In the case of NeverStick or Hybrid kadhais, the food comes in contact with a 100% PFOA free and toxin- free layer. This means that the food you cook in any of our kadhais remains healthy.

  • Can I cook all sorts of foods in a kadhai?
  • While our stainless steel kadhais are apt for most types of cooking & our Hybrid kadhais can take wooden as well as steel spoons, they may not be useful for certain cooking techniques such as pressure cooking, for which a pressure cooker is a must. You can, however, cook curries, stir fried vegetables, deep fried foods, etc., in any of our kadhais.
