Healthy Quick Snack Option by Chef Neha 

It takes no time to put together & is made with the simplest ingredient. 

Chef has used Stahl’s Artisan Kadhai , a stainless steel Triply Kadhai. This kadhai distributes heat evenly & perfect for everyday use.  


  • 1cup Sooji (Don’t use the fine sooji) 
  • 1 tbsp Ghee 
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds 
  • A few Curry leaves 
  • 1 tbsp Urad and Chana dal 
  • 1 green chilli, chopped 
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger 
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped 
  • 1/4 cup carrot, finely chopped 
  • 1/4 cup french beans, chopped 
  • 1/4 cup boiled peas 
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes 
  • Some Sambhar Masala 
  • Salt, to taste 
  • Grated coconut 
  • Chopped coriander leaves 
  • Fried cashews, for garnish 
  • 3 cups Water

Roast the sooji well until it just starts getting brown. You can also add a little ghee while toasting if you want 
The water should not be boiling hot when you add the sooji else there will be lumps 
A little sugar can enhance the flavour even more
