4. Does the rivetless design make a difference?
Yes. The smooth interior has no exposed rivet heads, leaving fewer crevices for food residue and oil to collect. It also creates a cleaner cooking surface and makes everyday washing easier.
5. Can I use metal utensils?
Yes. Artisan Hybrid is designed to be metal-spatula safe, so you can use your regular metal spatulas and ladles with confidence.
6. Is the frypan induction compatible?
Yes. The SS 430 outer layer makes it compatible with induction. It can also be used on gas, electric and ceramic cooktops.
7. Is the frypan oven safe?
Yes. The Artisan Hybrid Rivetless Frypan is oven safe up to 220°C.
8. Is the frypan dishwasher safe?
Yes. The frypan is dishwasher safe, although hand washing can help preserve its finish for longer.
9. Does the frypan come with a lid?
Except the 16cm and 18 cm frypan, all other sizes come with a tempered glass lid allowing you to monitor your food while retaining heat and moisture when required.

Low to medium heat is suitable for most cooking. Stahl Triply distributes heat efficiently across the cookware, so very high heat is rarely required.

14. Is the cooking surface food-safe?

16. Are all Artisan Hybrid frypans rivetless?
No, the 28cm Artisan Hybrid frypan comes with riveted handles. The rest of all sizes of the frypan are rivetless.
