QUICK 20-MIN PIZZA IN STAHL HYBRID FRYPAN

Dough - Makes 3 pizzas

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup Dahi / Hung Curd / Greek Yogurt (The reason to hang the curd is to get rid of the excess water. If you think your dahi doesn’t have excess water, use it as it is)

Sauce:

  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic; chopped
  • 1 tsp or less Chilli Flakes
  • 2 Tomatoes; roughly chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • Pepper - Optional
  • 5-7 Basil Leaves
  • Mozzarella Cheese; for the top

 

Method:

  1. In a bowl, add flour & dahi. Mix it well & knead a hard dough. Let this rest for 5 mins.

For the Sauce:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add in chopped garlic & cook for 30 seconds. Add in chilli flakes, chopped tomatoes, salt, sugar, oregano, and basil leaves & cook till the tomatoes soften. Let it cool & blitz it till smooth.
  2. Roll out the dough, (I wanted it perfectly round, so I cut it with a 2 lbs / 9-inch mould, spread the tomato sauce & lots of mozzarella cheese. Bake it for 8-12 minutes at 200-220°C. Drizzle some more olive oil on top. Garnish with basil & chilli flakes.

     

    Variations:

    • You can also add veggies to this. You don’t have to cook the veggies before adding them.

     

    Substitutes:

    • All-purpose flour: Aata/ Whole Wheat Flour / Gluten-free flour with Xanthan Gum
