LENTIL WRAP RECIPE IN STAHL HYBRID TASLA

Another easy-peasy recipe, with ingredients easily available at home. Perfect for tiffins, and travel meals!

Lentil Wrap Recipe in Stahl Hybrid Tasla by Chef Sneha Singhi

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic; chopped
  • 1/2 Onion; chopped
  • 1/4 cup Moong Chilka Dal; soaked
  • 2-4 tbsp. Fresh coriander; chopped
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt

Heat oil in a pan. Add in onion and garlic, and cook till it starts to brown. Next add the soaked dal and coriander mix and cook for 1 min. Add in the water, cover with a lid and cook for 7-9 mins till it’s cooked through, it shouldn’t get mushy.

 

For the Dip:

  • 5 tbsp¬†hung curd
  • 2 cloves of Garlic; chopped
  • Salt

Mix this all together.


For the Salad:

  • 1/2 Onion; thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Tomato; thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Capsicum; thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Cucumber, cut in cubes
  • 2 tbsp¬†Fresh Coriander
  • 2 tbsp¬†Fresh Parsley
  • 5-7 Olives
  • Lettuce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp¬†Olive oil
  • Salt

Mix this all together.


For the Tortilla:
I just made a thin and large Atta / whole wheat flour roti.

Assemble:
Add the cooked lentil to the tortilla, add 2-3 tbsp of the dip, add some salad and wrap it up.

Substitutes:

  • Moong Dal - Arhar Dal
  • Parsley - Coriander
