DELICIOUS PUMPKIN HALWA IN STAHL VERSATIL PRESSURE COOKER

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 6-8 Cashews
  • 8-10 Raisins
  • 5-6 Blanched Almonds, Sliced
  • 2 Cloves
  • 375 g Grated Pumpkin
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 4-5 Kesar Strands
  • ¾ tsp Ginger Powder
  • ½ tsp Cardamom Powder
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg Powder

Method:

  1. Heat Ghee in the Stahl Versatil Pressure Cooker.
  2. Add nuts and roast till golden brown. Take them out in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Add cloves and grated pumpkin. Sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Add milk and kesar and mix. Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
  5. Open the Pressure Cooker and add sugar, ginger powder, cardamom powder, and nutmeg powder. Mix well.
  6. Once the sugar melts, add the roasted nuts back and cook for a few more minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
