Creamy Baked Mashed Potatoes in Stahl Versatil Pressure Cooker
CREAMY BAKED MASHED POTATOES IN STAHL VERSATIL PRESSURE COOKER
Mashed Potatoes are a crowd favourite, but these baked mashed with veggies will steal the show guaranteed!
Chef Nehal Karkera has used Stahl’s Versatil Pressure Cooker for the preparation of this Christmas favourite!
Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Mash:
500 gm Potato
Salt as required
Water for pressure cooking
2 tbsp Butter
½ cup Fresh Cream (piping hot)
¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Egg
For the Veggies:
2 cups blanched Mix Veggies
1 tbsp Oil / Butter
1 tbsp chopped Garlic
1 tsp Chilli Flakes
Herbs of choice
Salt and Pepper to taste
Other Ingredients:
Chopped Parsley for garnish
Method:
Peel the potatoes and pressure cook them in salted water for 5-6 whistles.
While the potatoes are cooking, sauté all the veggies in butter and garlic, season with salt, pepper, and some chilli flakes and transfer to a baking dish.
Once the potatoes have cooked drain them off and let them sit for a minute.
Now mash the potatoes and add the rest of the ingredients, add the egg, and mix well.
Now add the potatoes on top of the veggies and score the surface using a fork.
Bake this at 180° C for 15 mins.
Once the top has coloured, garnish with some chopped parsley and serve.
