How to Make Chocolate Pudding

  • For the pudding, in a saucepan, heat the milk and cream over medium heat.
  • Then, add sugar cornflour, and cocoa powder. Whisk it until there are no lumps.
  • Add dark chocolate to it and whisk until it’s combined.
  • Remove the saucepan when it starts to thicken and keep it aside.
  • For the coffee soak, in a bowl mix together the instant coffee powder and the warm water and set it aside.
  • To layer the dessert, in a square dish lay down the chocolate cake slices first. Brush/pour the coffee soak, and add a generous layer of pudding, spreading it from corner to corner.
  • Refrigerate the layered pudding in the square dish until it sets.
