Veggie Paneer Momos

Chef Neha Deepak Shah made this super easy and yummy momos recipe that you can steam in your very own Versatil Cooker, which pressure cooks perfectly but can also be used for steaming by just replacing the pressure lid with the glass lid. Here's how you can make these delicious Veggie Paneer Momos.

Preparation of Veggie Paneer Momos

  • Prepare the whole wheat or maida dough using the wrapper dough ingredients.

Ingredients for Veggie Paneer Momos

For the Momos Filling-

  • 1 cup Chopped Cabbage
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrot
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chilli flakes (optional)

For the Wrapper Dough -

  • Maida or Whole Wheat
  • Water

How to Make Veggie Paneer Momos

  • Mix the filling ingredients in a bowl.
  • Make the momo wrappers from the dough in your preferred size.
  • Fill the momo filling in the centre and shape the momos as desired.
  • Boil some water in the Versatil Cooker and keep a ring in it.
  • Carefully keep the momos in a greased steamer basket (you can also use a banana leaf as shown), cover with the lid, and steam them till they are perfectly done.

Tips to Make Veggie Paneer Momos

  • Squeeze excess water from the veggies before adding paneer & cheese to prevent the momos from getting soggy and tearing.
  • Make sure you do not over steam the momos.

Serve these momos with the sauces of your choice and enjoy!
