Vegetable Fritters

Preparation for Making Vegetable Fritters

  • Chop all the vegetables, including the broccoli stem.
  • Sift the chickpea flour to remove impurities is any.

 

Ingredients for Making Vegetable Fritters

  • 1 broccoli, chopped finely (including the stem)
  • 1 carrot, chopped finely
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp chilli flakes
  • 1/4 cup cheese
  • 3/4 cup chickpea flour (besan)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

 

How to Make Vegetable Fritters

  • Add the broccoli, onion, carrot, sweet corn, salt, pepper, oregano, chilli flakes, cheese, chickpea flour to a bowl.
  • Heat some olive oil in the Stahl Blacksmith Hybrid Frypan.
  • Cook the fritters (patties) till they’re golden brown & crispy from both sides.
  • Serve hot with cheese spread & dig in!

Tips for Making Vegetable Fritters

  • If the mix is too dry to form patties, add a little water to bind the mixture.
  • If you wish to add some more vegetables to the fritters, consider their water content and add some more chickpea flour and spices accordingly.
  • Heat the Blacksmith Hybrid Frypan on low flame and do not dry heat it for a long time.
  • Add just enough oil to cook the patties till they are golden brown as the surface of the Blacksmith Hybrid Frypan is stick resistant.
