Spinach and Mushroom Dip

Preparation for Hot Spinach and Mushroom Dip

  1. It takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare the ingredients as per the list given below.
  2. Preheat the Blacksmith Hybrid frypan on low heat before adding the oil.

Ingredients for Hot Spinach and Mushroom Dip

  1. 3 tsp olive oil
  2. 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  3. 1 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  4. Salt and pepper to taste
  5. 1 tsp chilli flakes
  6. 2 1/2 cup spinach
  7. 3-4 tbsp cream cheese
  8. 1/4 cup fresh cream
  9. 1/2 cup grated cheese

How to Make Hot Spinach and Mushroom Dip

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the garlic for a min. Then add the mushrooms along with some salt and fry on high heat till most of the water evaporates and the mushrooms start to brown.
  2. Season with pepper and chilli flakes and then add the spinach.
  3. Cook till the spinach wilts and the water has reduced.
  4. Then take it off the heat and let it cool.
  5. Now mix the spinach mixture with the rest of the ingredients and transfer to an oven-safe bakeware.
  6. Top with cheese and bake for 5 mins at 200C.
  7. Remove and serve hot with chips.

Tips to Make Hot Spinach and Mushroom Dip

  1. While the handle of the Stahl Blacksmith Hybrid Frypan does not heat up as much on induction top or stovetop, it could heat up in an oven. Always use an oven mitten or kitchen towels when handling cookware used in the oven.
  2. You can also use butter instead of olive oil. Be careful with the amount of salt you add to the recipe if you’re using salted butter.
