Yes, you can quick-soak the dry fruits in warm orange juice or rum for 30 minutes to an hour if you’re short on time.
It usually takes around 40–50 minutes on low heat, depending on the thickness of your batter and the size of the pan.
You can use apple juice, orange juice, or even black tea. They all add wonderful flavor without alcohol.
