Marinate the paneer for at least 20 minutes using the marination ingredients given below.

Ingredients for Paneer Steak With Sautéed Veggies

For the Marination

  • 1 tbsp schezwan sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chilli flakes and oregano
  • Pepper powder 

For the Sauteed Veggies

  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tsp garlic chopped
  • Veggies of choice 2 cups like ( Broccoli, mushroom, beans, carrot, zucchini, bell peppers, capsicum, baby corn) all slit
  • Salt & pepper
  • Chilli flakes, oregano & Tabasco sauce or any hot sauce.
  • Cheese

How to Make Paneer Steak With Sautéed Veggies

  • Marinate the paneer by mixing the marination ingredients and spreading the mix on the paneer. Let this rest for 20 minutes.
  • Season the cast iron pan with some oil and cook the paneer on both sides until it is brown then make slits in it as shown in the video. Keep this aside.
  • Heat oil and start sautéing garlic and then onion.
  • Add mushroom and cook.
  • Next, add broccoli and capsicum.
  • Then, add all the spices and some hot sauce. Do a taste test.
  • Add some cheese.
  • Place the Paneer steak on top of the bed of veggies and enjoy!!
