Sneha has used the Stahl Hybrid Frypan for the preparation of this delicious treat.
Soak moong dal in water for a couple of hours. Blend it into a smooth paste with some water in a blender.
Heat ghee in a pan & add in the dal paste. Keep cooking & scraping the pan till the dal dries up & browns a little. Add in the mawa, mix it well & cook for 2 minutes.
Heat water in a pan. Add in the sugar & mix till the sugar dissolves. Add the food colour.
Add the dried dal to the sugar syrup & mix well. Put it back on the heat & add saffron soaked in milk. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the cardamom powder. Garnish with dry fruits. Serve hot.
