Indianized / Desi Cheese Fondue in Stahl Hybrid Frypan

INDIANIZED / DESI CHEESE FONDUE IN STAHL HYBRID FRYPAN

We’ve named it this because the OG fondue is made with a mix of Swiss cheeses (which aren’t easily available to everyone) and white wine. We’ve made it similar so that everyone can easily make this at home! 😍 .

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Cream
  • ½ cup Processed Cheese
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Cheese Spread
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour mixed with 3 tbsp Milk
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • ½ tsp Mustard
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Oregano (Optional)
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes (Optional)

                   

                      Method:

                      1. Melt the butter.
                      2. Rub the garlic very well in a pan and remove it.
                      3. Now add milk, cream, cheese spread, cheeses.
                      4. Let this melt add in all the other ingredients and cook till it thickens.
                      5. Serve this hot either in a fondue pot, or on the pan itself.

                      Accompaniments:

                      • Bread: Slice your bread and toss it with butter and herbs, toast till crispy.
                      • Veggies (Broccoli, Carrot, Baby Corn, Potatoes): Boil your veggies and sauté in butter with salt and dried herbs till they slightly brown.
                      • Fruits (Apple, Pear, Grapes, Strawberries): They taste great with cheese!
