Desi Cheese Founde

Chef Sneha is known to add a twist to her recipes & make it easy for everyone to try for. Desi Cheese Fondue in Stahl Hybrid Frypan
 
Why she named it this is because the OG fondue is made with a mix of Swiss cheeses (which aren’t easily available to everyone) and white wine. She  made it similar so that everyone can easily make this at home 😍 
 
Serves 4​ 
 
Ingredients: 
  • 🫕 1 tbsp Butter​ 
  • 🫕 1 clove of Garlic​ 
  • 🫕 ¾ cup Milk​ 
  • 🫕 ¼ cup Cream​ 
  • 🫕 ½ cup Processed Cheese​ 
  • 🫕 ¼ cup mozzarella cheese​ 
  • 🫕 ½ cup Cheese Spread​ 
  • 🫕 Salt​ 
  • 🫕 2 tbsp Cornflour mixed with 3 tbsp Milk​ 
  • 🫕 ¼ tsp Pepper​ 
  • 🫕 ½ tsp Mustard​ 
  • 🫕 ¼ tsp Nutmeg​ 
  • 🫕 1 tsp Oregano (Optional)​ 
  • 🫕 1 tsp Chilli Flakes (Optional)​ 
Method:​ 
  1. Melt the butter.​ 
  2. Rub the garlic very well in a pan and remove it.​ 
  3. Now add milk, cream, cheese spread, cheeses.​ 
  4. Let this melt add in all the other ingredients and cook till it thickens.​ 
  5. Serve this hot either in a fondue pot, or on the pan itself.​ 
Accompaniments:​ 

  1. 🍞 Bread: Slice your bread and toss it with butter and herbs, toast till crispy.​ 
  2. 🥦 Veggies (Broccoli, Carrot, Baby Corn, Potatoes): Boil your veggies and sauté in butter with salt and dried herbs till they slightly brown.​ 
  3. 🍇 Fruits (Apple, Pear, Grapes, Strawberries): They taste great with cheese!​
