Chef Sneha is known to add a twist to her recipes & make it easy for everyone to try for. Desi Cheese Fondue in Stahl Hybrid Frypan Why she named it this is because the OG fondue is made with a mix of Swiss cheeses (which aren’t easily available to everyone) and white wine. She made it similar so that everyone can easily make this at home 😍 Serves 4 Ingredients:
🫕 1 tbsp Butter
🫕 1 clove of Garlic
🫕 ¾ cup Milk
🫕 ¼ cup Cream
🫕 ½ cup Processed Cheese
🫕 ¼ cup mozzarella cheese
🫕 ½ cup Cheese Spread
🫕 Salt
🫕 2 tbsp Cornflour mixed with 3 tbsp Milk
🫕 ¼ tsp Pepper
🫕 ½ tsp Mustard
🫕 ¼ tsp Nutmeg
🫕 1 tsp Oregano (Optional)
🫕 1 tsp Chilli Flakes (Optional)
Method:
Melt the butter.
Rub the garlic very well in a pan and remove it.
Now add milk, cream, cheese spread, cheeses.
Let this melt add in all the other ingredients and cook till it thickens.
Serve this hot either in a fondue pot, or on the pan itself.
Accompaniments:
🍞 Bread: Slice your bread and toss it with butter and herbs, toast till crispy.
🥦 Veggies (Broccoli, Carrot, Baby Corn, Potatoes): Boil your veggies and sauté in butter with salt and dried herbs till they slightly brown.
🍇 Fruits (Apple, Pear, Grapes, Strawberries): They taste great with cheese!
